Please refer to the CDC's recommendations for preventative steps to keep yourself healthy. Cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty. Robert M. Kimmel, MD, FACS is the only board certified plastic surgeon in Schuylkill County trained in plastic, reconstructive, hand surgical procedures and non-surgical cosmetic procedures.

For the convenience of his patients, he also staffs and maintains a second office location in Hazleton, Luzerne County. Dr. Kimmel and his staff recognize that choosing a qualified, experienced plastic surgeon is the patient's first and most important step on the road to cosmetic enhancement.

Meet the Cosmetic Surgeon
Report
During this trip, I was accompanied by a nurse and team of other surgeons, one of whom was my son, Dr. Robert M. Kimmel, Jr., a senior General Surgery resident at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut.
During this mission trip, we were able to provide necessary surgeries to impoverished citizens of Liberia, who lack the resources to otherwise afford access to surgical care, as well as provide teaching and interaction opportunities between HEARTT members and the Liberian medical professionals.
Additionally, having the opportunity to work side-by-side and share this experience with my son was extremely rewarding.

Liposuction
Report
Despite an overall healthy lifestyle including a well-balanced diet and regular exercise, many individuals remain frustrated with the development of disproportionate contours due to localized fat deposits, known as 'lipodystrophy.'
These areas may arise due to multiple factors beyond one's control such as gender, family traits, and hormone balance.
In these situations, liposuction may provide the perfect solution.
Typically performed under intravenous sedation anesthesia in a State Licensed, Nationally Accredited Ambulatory Surgical Center (see about Keystone Surgery Center), liposuction employs the use of 'tumescent' local anesthesia which is a dilute, epinephrine-containing solution that acts to liquefy the fatty tissue.
Mommy Makeovers
Report
For most women, childbirth is a wonderful, life-changing event.
It represents the culmination of a dramatic body transformation, which occurred over the proceeding nine months.
In some situations, return to pre-motherhood figure occurs over the 3 to 6 months following delivery.
However, many women express frustration and dissatisfaction when they're unable to recover their prepregnancy shape, despite appropriate diet and exercise.
This is especially common for women who've delivered their second or subsequent child.
