You'll also be able to hear what some of our patients have to say about us and hope that you decide to come meet us at our Nob Hill, San Francisco Plastic Surgery office!
My many years of listening to my plastic surgery patients and providing them with all of the various surgical options available have been the foundation of my practice.
I realized the importance of offering the 'mini' plastic surgery procedures as well as the more involved surgeries.
At the age of forty-nine, I had my first procedure and since then I've been very aware of the importance of maintenance.
After many days at the beach and many suntans in my youth, I decided to have a skin peel, which was a good follow-up to the surgery.
I use good skin products recommended by a dermatologist and never forget the sunblock!
Now, at sixty-six, I'm happy with the way I look and realize that looking good often has a lot to do with feeling good!
Once again, I would like to thank you all for being not just professional in what you do, but in the personal attention you have given me.
Liposuction shouldn't be considered a weight-loss technique but a method to reduce the fat cells in the body and to recontour the body.
When you're born, your body contains a certain number of fat cells, and that number doesn't fluctuate throughout your life.
Once these fat cells are removed by Dr. Weil they don't regenerate again.
When you lose or gain weight, the size of your existing fat cells only decreases or increases.
During a liposuction procedure, which is performed under general anesthesia, Dr. Weil injects fluid into the areas where your fat needs to be removed in order to help the fat move more freely.
To combat the effects of aging, Dr. Weil offers facelift procedures that tighten and smooth the skin on your face and neck.
During your initial consultation with Dr. Weil will review with you the areas you want treated.
With any facelift procedure, Dr. Weil's primary goal is to provide you with a natural look that shaves years off your appearance, without the taut, pulled look that's typically associated with facelifts.
Using modern techniques, Dr. Weil works with your bone structure and your skin to ensure the end result is not a different you, but a beautifully rejuvenated and revitalized you.
Does Dr. Weil perform a blepharoplasty as an in-office procedure or does it have to be done in a surgical operating room?.
One of the greatest advantages of blepharoplasty is that it's usually a quick procedure that's done in Dr. Weil's office under local anesthesia.
If you're also tackling your lower eyelids, Dr. Weil makes an incision at your eyelash line and performs the same steps, depending on the extent of work that's required to meet your desired results.
In certain cases, Dr. Weil performs the lower eyelid work through an incision on the inside of your lower eyelid, creating a hidden incision to remove or reposition fat underneath your eyes.
