The surgeries are dependent upon the desires and goals of the patient as well as the indicative decision by the surgeon. Common areas done are the upper arms, breasts, abdomen, hips, buttocks, and thighs. The best candidates are those in good overall health, steady with their weight, and realistic about the outcomes of surgery.

Breast reductions are performed using a keyhole technique. In some cases, a free nipple graft may be recommended as well. The larger the breasts, the more likely the need for the free nipple graft. The end result is a scar in the shape of an anchor; around the areola, a vertical incision, and an incision in the bottom crease of the breast.

This could be caused by fluctuations in weight, pregnancy, loss of skin elasticity, gravity, or aging. The procedure is done by removing portions of skin in strategic locations and then reshaping the breast tissue. This allows for the entire breast to be firmer and perkier once they have healed. A breast lift does leave scars on the breasts. There are different types or variations of surgical lifts.

The surgery consists of removing excess fat and loose skin in the abdomen resulting in a flatter, firmer stomach. The abdominal muscles that have weakened or separated due to weight loss or pregnancy are also repaired. Often times, liposuction to the hips, or flanks, is done at the same time for better contouring. This procedure will leave a scar along the belt line, above the pubic region, from hip to hip.
