Lauren Greenberg, MD
The decision to pursue plastic surgery is a personal one. When done appropriately, it is a positive life experience. My goal is to meet with you, evaluate what areas concern you, and discuss the possibilities. To achieve results, I'll bring my skills as a Stanford, breast and cosmetic fellowship trained, board certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice since 1999.

I will bring my compassion, my education, and my experience; you'll bring your desire to maximize and sustain the results we reach together. I will educate you on your options and the pros and cons of each path. I believe you must feel comfortable and open with your plastic surgeon. I meet with you directly for all of your visits-consultations through surgery and recovery.

My greatest satisfaction as a cosmetic plastic surgeon, and as a woman who is living with the same changes as many of you, comes afterward-when we appreciate the results achieved, whether it be enhancing what you have or reconstructing an area back to normal.

When you decide to pursue plastic and cosmetic surgery, you will do internet research.
Cosmetic surgery tends to be private, particularly in Palo Alto and the Bay Area.
Most of my patients have told few friends they did anything, so it is common you think "I don't know anyone who has done this."
To educate yourself, you Google, read websites, and go to chat rooms.
We, as plastic surgeons, are trained in an array of surgeries: flaps, microsurgical techniques, hand surgery, facial fractures, cleft lip and palate, and cosmetic surgery.
Cosmetic enhancement procedures are designed to improve physical appearance, so patients are naturally excited to know how the results of their aesthetic treatment will look.
Though doctors are typically happy to describe the anticipated outcome or show examples of previous work, those methods do not provide a personalized visual example of the potential results.
Fortunately, Dr. Lauren Greenberg, our board-certified plastic surgeon, offers the latest modeling technology, VECTRA 3D Cosmetic Imaging, to help patients visualize the possible effects of certain procedures and develop the most successful treatment plan.
