Excess skin and loose abdominal muscles are common occurrences after weight loss or multiple pregnancies.
Sometimes diet and exercise can't bring your tummy to your ideal shape, which is why many people look into getting an abdominoplasty.
An abdominoplasty, commonly known as a "tummy tuck", is a procedure that tightens the loose skin and relaxed muscles in the abdominal region.
In this procedure, the abdominal muscles are sutured, excess fat is removed and the skin is tightened to reveal a flat tummy.
No one's body is built the same, and it is perfectly normal to consider augmentation if it will improve your self confidence.
Breast augmentation is a very common aesthetic surgery performed among women and can address a number of patient concerns such as breast size, proportionality and shape.
Breast augmentation can increase or restore your breast size, allowing you to achieve a more proportional and youthful figure.
There are different options for breast augmentation surgery depending on your medical history, body frame and mass and existing breast tissue.
The skin around the eyelid is very delicate and easily shows the signs of age and stress.
Oftentimes, this skin droops over the natural folds of the eyelid, causing puffiness, wrinkles and impaired vision.
A blepharoplasty can be performed to remove excess skin or fatty deposits on the eyelids and improve dark circles and deep grooves under the eyes.
A blepharoplasty will also improve your facial structure by giving your eyes a more alert and youthful appearance.
There are many approaches used for a blepharoplasty depending on your facial muscle structure, bone structure and symmetry of your eyebrows.
Large fluctuations in weight, aging, and hereditary conditions may cause skin on the upper arm to sag.
While exercise can help build muscle in your arm, it can decrease the amount of fat in the arm causing excess skin.
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a procedure that removes excess skin from the armpit to the elbow, resulting in a more defined, contoured upper arm shape.
During an arm lift, an incision is made along the upper arm and the underlying tissue is tightened and reshaped.
The length and placement of the incision depends on the amount and location of excess skin being removed.
