D. grew up in Wadern - Nunkirchen a small village in the state of Saarland in Germany.
She studied medicine at the University of the Saarland in Homburg where she graduated in 1990.
She earned her doctorate degree with Magna cum Laude in Forensic Psychiatry and worked as an Otorhinolaryngology resident before moving to NY.
Her General Surgery training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center was followed by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Nassau County Medical Center.
She subsequently completed a Microsurgery and Cancer Reconstruction Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Her responsibilities have grown and she does everything from greeting patients at the front desk, billing out claims and staying on top of the insurance companies to making sure the claims are paid fairly and promptly.
She holds a B.S. in Business Management and has a background in customer service in banking and medical insurance.
Today, you will find Lisa in our Trumbull office greeting patients at the desk and bringing each patient to the exam room when not following up on insurance claims or performing bookkeeping duties.
