You or your child may want to consider plastic surgery of the ears if they are too prominent, or have been disfigured by injury, previous surgery, or skin cancer.
The procedure, clinically referred to as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position, and proportions of the ear.
A natural shape is created while bringing balance and symmetry to the ears and face.
This procedure can be especially beneficial to children who are embarrassed by the appearance of their protruding ears.
Otoplasty is often performed at ages six or seven in order to prevent teasing at school.
Eyelid surgery is also called blepharoplasty.
This involves removing of fat usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids.
Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes.
Features that make you look older and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision.
This procedure doesn't involve crow's feet or other wrinkles, eliminate dark circles under your eyes, or lift sagging eyebrows.
Blepharoplasty can enhance your looks and give your self confidence but won't make you look entirely different.
When the date for your face lift has arrived, you should plan on the surgery taking several hours or more depending on which procedures you are having performed.
There is no set procedure for how a face lift is performed, as each individual's face is different and may have different requirements.
However, many plastic surgeons will determine the best placement for incisions used to remove fat deposits and to tighten skin and muscle tissues is in the scalp.
Incisions are often placed in the scalp so that they will be less visible, and if work is done on the neck area, the incision is usually placed under the chin.
Facetite is a new procedure that is a minimally invasive alternative to a surgical facelift.
FaceTite provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck, which was previously only attainable through a surgical procedure such as a facelift.
FaceTite utilizes minimally invasive radio-frequency energy to melt fat and tighten skin.
FaceTite is a minimally-invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia or light sedation.
Post procedure, patient can go home and resume regular activities shortly after.
